The Tenants’ Advice and Consultancy Team (TACT) specialises in providing Independent Advice and Support to tenants and residents where changes to the management or ownership of their homes are under discussion, including:

• Continuing Council ownership and management
• Options appraisal
• Arms Length Management Organisations
• Private Finance Initiatives
• Large and Small scale transfers to new landlords including fully mutual community landlords and community owned landlords

We have worked with tenants in over 80 areas of England and Wales – the largest having 33,000 tenants; the smallest eight.  Our work focuses on working with tenants and where appropriate leaseholders to design solutions that work best for them.  Tenants with whom we have worked have been responsible for identifying and implementing new opportunities for the communities in which they live.

We are a team of housing and community professionals, based across Wales and England.  We have a team of dedicated administrators to support our Tenants’ Advisers based at our office in Cwmbran.
